The history of Barcelona gyrates around the point where the Laietana Palace is set: some remains of the Roman Wall of ancient Barcino can be seen in the rear of the hotel. Located in the heart of the Gothic District, the palace is one of the buildings facing the famous Via Laietana, the important urban and business thoroughfare of the bourgeois Barcelona of the beginning of the 20th century.
